I L-O-V-E your work! I found you on the warm glass forum. I, too, am working with recycled glass and you're pieces inspire me to carry on with my vision despite naysayers. Thank you!
Great work Rosanna!
Your work is beautiful. Would love to see it in person.
Rosana~ I also found you on the warm glass forum:)
Your work is GORGEOUS!!
I was trying to contact you via email with warm glass, but my info didn't transfer or something, so I have to re-register. I had a question for you...
Did this work for you (re. fire polishing bottle edges):
"i think you could make it work in a top fired kiln of the right height. cut bottles. sand inside and outside edges a little. bring up to strain point or a little more with a hold for evenivity. then really fast up to fire polish temp. then down. if the bottle glasses were packed pretty tight in the kiln then the heat on fast up would be directed at the rims where the heat work needed to be done. worth it? maybe maybe not. probably doable? i think so. rosanna who will probably test this out. gotta love a theory."
